TESTIMONIALS
STUDENT
"Within 8 pistol lessons with Jeff I was hitting bullseyes at 15 yards. By 3 months I was confidently and accurately shooting 4” groups at 25 yards, far beyond my expectations as a brand new shooter. Recently we moved onto concealed drawing from the holster and shooting at speed!" —Yuliya Gorenman "I came to Jeff as a new handgun shooter because I was really struggling to hit my target. After just two months, I’m now shooting 3–4 inch groups at 25 yards. He’s super patient and encouraging, and he always adjusts the lesson to fit my goals. Training with him makes learning fun, and it’s kept me excited to keep learning and improving." – Aurelia S. "Before working with Jeff, I was inconsistent and frustrated with my handgun accuracy. Within just a few sessions, he broke down my grip, stance, and trigger control in a way that finally clicked. His clear, no-nonsense coaching helped me correct bad habits I didn’t even realize I had. My groups are now tighter, my confidence is way higher, and for the first time I actually feel in control behind the gun. I can’t recommend him enough." – Trevor P.
Preperation is everything.

CONCEALED
CARRY PERMIT
VS. REALITY
A concealed carry class and concealed carry permit is a smart step — but it can create a false sense of security. The well-known “Tueller Drill” proves that an attacker can close a distance of 21 feet (7 yards) in less than 1.5 seconds, meaning that a 1.5 second pistol draw is largely ineffective at distances closer than 7 yards.
THE REALITY IS SHOCKING: FBI data shows most encounters occur within 10 feet (3.33 yards), and a whopping 44.8% occur within 5 feet (1.67 yards). At those distances, a 1.5 second pistol draw would likely be fatally inadequate.
With focused instruction, I train students to develop their peak holster‑draw speed, targeting an initial goal of 1.5 seconds — a practical minimum standard for concealed‑carry permit holders. I also teach tactical movement techniques and drawing from retention, which greatly enhances overall combat effectiveness at close distances.

MEET
your INSTRUCTOR

I believe skill develops at the edge of one’s comfort zone. That’s where the real learning happens—and that’s where I guide my students. My firearm instruction is designed to safely challenge you, pushing past familiar limits to accelerate your progress.
Rather than treating symptoms, I focus on identifying and correcting root causes. Through detailed analysis of your grip, stance, trigger control, holster draw, and responses to recoil—I provide clear, practical adjustments that produce results.
Above all, I value communication. Firearms training with me is a partnership, not a one-way directive. My ultimate goal is to make each lesson empowering, effective, and something you genuinely look forward to.
